BY USING “THE ULTIMATE LEARNING GAME” (“APP, “SERVICE”, “SOFTWARE”, “OUR”, “US”, “WE”), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”) AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS. THESE TERMS ARE A CONTRACT BETWEEN “THE ULTIMATE LEARNING GAME” AND YOU (“YOUR”, “USER”, “USERS”). THESE TERMS GOVERN YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE.

Please note that the use of “Un-cook my grades” in our app does not literally mean “un-cook my grades”. The term “cook”, along with “grades”, is a popular slang term used in the expression “my grades are cooked” to express that “my grades are not good”. The phrase “Un-cook my grades”, and its use in our app, refers to the application features we provide to help you improve your grades.
At this time, all users must be Canadian residents to use this app. Prior to creating your The Ultimate Learning Game, you have attested that you are a resident of Canada. We have additional guards in place to block non-Canadian users from accessing our site and from purchasing subscriptions:
(i) Our domain provider, Cloudflare, blocks non-Canadian IP addresses from accessing our service.
(ii) Our payment processor, Stripe, blocks non-Canadian payment cards from completing subscription purchases. Stripe also blocks non-Canadian IP address from completing subscription purchases.
(iii) Stripe sends us confirmation that your card’s issuing country is Canadian.
To learn about how The Ultimate Learning Game collects, uses, shares, and deletes your data, please visit our Privacy Policy @ theultimatelearninggame.ca/privacy. This privacy policy is also accessilbe through uncookmygrades.ca/privacy and calculatemygrades.ca/privacy.
Users below the age of 18 must have consent from their parent/guardian and agree to our current Privacy Policy and our current Terms and Conditions to use this app. Users below the age of 13 should not use this app. By creating a The Ultimate Learning Game account, you have agreed to the following:
“By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13, and if under 18, that you have your parent or guardian's consent.”
This is to comply with The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any other child privacy laws and regulations.
If we find users that abuse our app which includes any one of the following, but is not limited to: disobeying our licence terms, violating our Terms and Conditions, providing false parent/guardian consent, and/or using inappropriate display names - we have the right to ban these users from their The Ultimate Learning Game account and prevent them from re-signing up with the same email address (previously used to sign-in to their old account) and provide no reimbursement for their current subscription plan or free trial (if they have one).
If you are a user that signed up before July 11 9 AM, please visit this section which applies to you. If you have signed up before this time, click “For Users before July 13 7 PM” to expand section.
We have changed our billing model, as of July 11 9 AM. The free trial for access to unlimited features have been converted to a free forever plan, with limited features. The paid subscriptions are now called our “Pro” plan, which removes all limits from the free plan. You can choose if you would like to pay “Monthly” (every 1 month), “Semester” (ever 4 months), or “Annual” (ever 12 months). New users subscribing to the Free plan do not need to enter any payment information to sign-up; this is only required if users want to upgrade to our Pro plan. These changes to our pricing model will not affect existing users for the first 4 months.
Free plan users will be able to delete their account at anytime. Users on the Pro plan have the ability to cancel their plan, at anytime, and they will not be charged in the next billing period. It is at our sole discretion to provide refunds for Pro subscriptions already started and/or used. For these inquires, contact [email protected] and we will consider your request.
If you currently have a subscription plan, we may pause access to our app, at the start of the next billing period, if there are insufficient funds in your account and/or your payment method is expired. Your access to our app only resumes once we receive your payment for a subscription - until then, your access to our app will be paused/restricted.
To learn more about when you can delete your account, as well as, the information we retain and delete following account deletion, please visit “Account Deletion” in Section 11 of our Privacy Policy.
The price of our subscription plans are subject to change. In the event of a change in the length of our free trial or an addition of a free trial, this will only affect new users who sign-up for a The Ultimate Learning Game account. In the event of a pricing change to our subscription plans, users will be notified at least 30 days, in advance of the price change, which will affect new and existing users.
USERS MAY NOT EXPLOIT OUR SOFTWARE BY ATTEMPTING TO BYPASS OUR APP PAYWALL TO EXTEND THEIR FREE TRIAL (if signed up before July 11 9 AM) OR TO ACCESS PRO FEATURES WITHOUT PURCHASING A SUBSCRIPTION.
If you are unsatisfied with your app experience, we are deeply sorry. Feel free to email [email protected] to provide your feedback. Please note that The Ultimate Learning Game shareholders and members will not usually refund subscription orders. If you have issues with your subscription, please email [email protected]. In some circumstances, we may provide refunds, but it is at our sole discretion.
AT ANY TIME, THE ULTIMATE LEARNING GAME MAY SUSPEND APP ACCESS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. IF WE SUSPEND APP ACCESS WHILE YOU ARE ON OUR FREE PLAN OR PRO PLAN, THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT OUR APP WAS SUSPENDED FOR WILL BE ADDED AS AN EXTRA FREE TRIAL CREDIT DAY*.
“Extra free trial credit day(s) will apply to any outage, to which we are aware of, greater to the extent of 1 hour. If you have issues with accessing the app, please email us, and we will handle your request and provide necessary credits. If you are on our free plan, each free trial credit day awarded will give you access to all of our app features, usually locked by our Pro plan. If you are on our Pro plan, each free trial credit day will give you an extra day in your plan/billing period.
IF WE SUSPEND APP ACCESS WHILE YOU STILL HAVE TIME REMAINING IN YOUR BILLING PERIOD, THE AMOUNT OF TIME OUR APP WAS SUSPENDED FOR WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR CURRENT BILLING PERIOD.
As we are currently a small supplier, we do not collect GST/HST for our subscription plans. However, we reserve the right to start charging customers GST/HST, along with their plan’s pricing, to comply with provincial and federal law.
The Ultimate Learning Game members and shareholders are not liable for any miscalculations done by our app involving grades, semester GPA, cGPA, etc that are done at individuals’ browsers. It is ultimately the responsibility of the user to calculate and verify their own grades and GPAs with their school.
The information and claims provided on our website/application/service are for information purposes only. We try our best to ensure that the information we display to the user on our website/application is factually accurate. However, The Ultimate Learning Game is not liable and responsible for any claims or pieces of information in our app that may be inaccurate.
The Ultimate Learning Game is not liable for any loss of app data held on our servers. We are also not liable and responsible for any loss of app data from your browser. It is your responsibility to save your account data that sits in your browser. To save your account data, you can download the .json file of your app data from the “Settings” page of our app. Alternatively, you can sync your app data (browser-only) to your Google Drive through the “Settings” page of our app.
For users before July 13 3:00 PM ET:
Users who want to import their browser-only app data and/or sync their app browser-only data to their Google Drive must meet the following conditions:
(i) have time available in their free trial OR
(ii) have time remaining in their subscription plan
Users that do not meet conditions (i) and (ii) mentioned above will not be able to import a copy of their browser-only app data and/or sync their browser-only app data to their Google Drive. All users will be able to download their browser-only app data, as a .json file, to their computer - including users who have expired free trials, or don’t have an active subscription.
We cannot guarantee that our app will be able to sync your app data to your Google Drive account every 1 minute. We are also not liable or responsible for any loss of data that may occur (before, during, and after), we send your data to third-party applications. By using The Ultimate Learning Game, you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
